Putin tries to blame us for his invasion

29 08 2008

Trying to keep the spin on his side, Vladimir Putin accused the United States on Thursday of instigating the fighting in Georgia. “We have serious grounds to think (But no proof, Ed) that there were U.S. citizens right in the combat zone” during Russia’s war with the U.S.-allied ex-Soviet republic, he said the interview broadcast on state-run Russian television. “And if that’s so, if that is confirmed, it’s very bad. It’s very dangerous.”

Vlad, I’m going to let my fair readers know about your little secrete, that your airplanes were bombing Georgian villages on the 6th of August. Not troops peace keeping or otherwise, but civilians. How do I a simple American know this, because the truth will always come out. It can not be hidden behind your blaming of the victim especially now that we have the internet.

I found a news report by Michael Totten, who got his information confirmed by Thomas Goltz, a well known expert on that region who is not paid by either side. I found it at the the rott and it filled in what has not made sense to me about this conflict.

Vlad, we do not forget that you were trained by the KGB, we think that you want to return Russia to her perceived glory under Socialism, I hope soon that the freedom loving people of Russia will sweep you and your ilk from the halls of the Kremlin.
